I just purcahased the iPhone a few weeks ago. And at the same time my 410A superheat and subcooling chart was ruined by my custermers dog. Yes! The dog tore my chart to pices. So, I starded calling my supplyers to see if they had the sliding calculator that I needed. And to my amazment none had any. Well, I came across this app and Ive been putting it to the test. It was I bit confusing at first just because. Just let me say that this app is great. Keep up the good work !!!

Setting up a bunch of ACs this year and was tired of running back to the truck for the slide ruler all the time. I saw this app and man I can tell you that it works perfectly. I swear by it. It does superheat, subcool and airflow. Great for new installs as well as service.

This app is terrible. Not worth any hvacr mechanics time. Complete rip off!

The new upgrade has problems. I found that trying to get to the number I need I have to tap the screen over and over. Then the button gets stuck next thing I am into the thousands. Removed and reloaded older version.

The calculations part is ok, the trouble shooting and explanation are just slapped together. I expected more from this app

App really disappointed me with the lack of refrigerants. At least state a list of them on the description details. Missing a lot of refrigerants like 407c,422 and many more. I mean I really wanted it for the refrigerants I dont normally come across and need a idea of the pressure.

Im a HVAC tech and I could have used this a few hours ago. It doesnt matter if this is your profession or not this will come in handy. This is not a bot review Im just some dude. Thanks

I used it to explain charging to an apprentice that unfortunately does not have his own iphone. If you have one, great.

I carry my buddy around on all my jobs now and it really simplifies the process. No more note taking, no charts to carry around just plug in the numbers from my metering devices and presto!

I love HVAC Buddy! It just went from "neat app" to "fricken sick"! Ive used it occasionally and have been happy with it. It didnt do anything I couldnt do with my gauges, clamp on, and a piece of paper but now with the ability to e-mail the info from every call I go on this app is a must! I was going to buy a $200+ data logger that would print out that info...not any more. Thanks.

When I first installed this app it said to take discherge temp as close to the compressor as possable, well thats not how you get sub-cooling. however most should know this already before buying this app. I take it the designer doesnt work in the field.

Okay I changed to 5 stars with latest version. I use gmail and email every status report to myself for a permanent record that I can pull up on my phone or email another tech /someone at the office to look at the readings. Iit has changed the way I do some things for the better.

I found this to be a very nice app.A question i have though is,can this be used on a heat pump system in heat mode.Maybe an update could be added later if it cannot be used that way now,thanks

Please add more refrigerants such as R-408a.

I am looking for an update. I would like to see PA and WC added to the air flow area. Also needs better email report that states problem areas. This app just needs more details and updates. App needs to address airflow problems affecting charge. After all if you dont have enough air flow your charge will look over when it really isnt. This app is not taking that into effect but does show you optimal delta T. I would also like to see a current efficiency rating of the operating unit. EER not the SEER. For $10 this app should be the best. Thanks

I am not easily impressed but this app has been very impressive so far. I have used this almost 50 times since I bought it and it makes charging a system FUN. Your temps change and you update your numbers. Couldnt be simpler. My customers can actually see my dedication to my work and theyre happy with a cooler house. Best app Ive bought so far.

This is a great app, very handy. if more refrigerants were added, along with another page so we could include the equipment information And save them into different groups or jobs for future reference that would make it a must have app for techs.!

Its a good app, email is awesome. More functions for the price would make it perfect.

Good app for the more critical charging environments. However when doing 5 or more service calls a day there is no time to email, why cant I send report via mms/text? That would be helpful. More unit and diagnoses details such as work performed, parts and supplies used on report would be nice
